I would count this as more reliable than the noforce commands. Basically it functions similar to mouse fix in xp, but is a bit harder to apply than in xp because of vistas security.
#8 the reg keys aren't different..i looked them up. the mousefix for xp works exactly the same. it's the only fix i've applied and i have no mouse accel so yeah...
Regardless if it works or not the CPL fix still doesnt fully address acceleration, its just "close". They actually change the acceleration curve, and dont totally get rid of acceleration. Fixing the win32k.sys will however fully remove it.
"1. Apply deadlock.reg 2. Logout and login or restart Windows 3. See if the cursor is frozen
If cursor acceleration has been disabled, it will move as usual; otherwise it won't move at all."
Thanks to anir over at http://razerblueprints.net If you test using that reg key you can verify that cpl fix doesnt fully work.
The issue being its hard to modify that .sys file say on lan, or in a tournament, hence the creation of the quick fix that is the "cpl mouse fix". Its quick reg file that almost completely gets rids of accel, and can be turned on and off quickly in a lan setting.
Patching the the win32k.sys file is more of a long term and accurate solution.
#14 it does to tell you, are you even reading the thread? Or just the first post? Please pay attention to the whole thing, thanks. The links are later on in the thread.
I didn't read the entire thread, but there shouldn't be any mouse acceleration by default in the source games. If your worried about it, just put in the -noforce commands and you should be good to go.
When I first saw the black/white/red-soles colourway I wasnt so sure. I tried them on and quite like how they feel.
I then read about the white/black/concord colourway and totally fell in love with how they look. I missed out on the white/black Jordan XI's so I thought this Jordan 6 Rings is a good alternative. The white/black/concord colourway kinda look like Jordan XI's.
Mousefix for vista.
add:
-noforcemaccel -noforcemparms
that's all you need (no, you don't need -noforcemspd to get rid of the acceleration)
why not -noforcespd?
and how about source? needs it too?
sorry
ive got noforce commands on 1.6
I was going to address it in my vista blog, but ill give you guys a sneak peak.

You can verify this with deadlock.reg http://home.arcor.de/_aero/personal/deadl..

it only have a bunch of patched files for others.
Anyone have another link to deadlock.reg? That host seems to be down.
