to me grip doesnt matter unless you use like a very very low DPI settings, like something below 400 which i dont think you can do, i use a dell mouse at the moment, and i still play fine. But i would perfer the MX518 for grip if you want it
im looking to buy a gaming mouse soon too and i am also curious what has the best grip... say most of your gaming has been done with a crappy generic mouse that only your 2 fingers and a small ammount of your hand actually rests on. being use to this kind of grip, can you advise the best gaming mouse for me ??
it will be confusing cause everybody will say different stuff. The most used are probably IE 3.0/1.1 and MX 518/510/G5, just go to a store try each one of them and see which feels most comfortable. :D
because i just got burned by performancepcs and ups and am in a bad mood, here goes - why do people keep asking what is the best mouse all the time and people giving advise with no mention of how big your hands are. people grip by fingers or whole hand but one of the first questions is hand size. how can people with small hands find a 3.0 comfortable if he hand grips or a person with big hands use a mx300 if he hand grips. what works great for me probably wont work for the next guy and so on.
think most folks that grown tired of answering this generic question, there are alot of folks here willing to help but please give us the information to answer it properly instead of my mouse is the best all the time. hand size, left right, games played, lo -high sens, mouse pad you use etc.
ps i still am mad at ups [never ever use them to ship to Canada] brokerage was 40.00 on a 40.00 mouse and 16.00 skates i ordered from the states along with 17.00 freight i was charged with no mention in checkout of brokerage. mail was just 15.00 nice for computer company to ship, nice for them not to tell me i had another choice in checkout.
on the plus i have the worlds most expensive 800 dpi mouse to play with.
if your used to using your fingertips rather than your whole hand or palm on the mouse then i recommend a Razer mouse
id go with the razer diamondback but do a little research and see what you like.
if you wanna test out the mouses that require you to use more square footage on your hand :] then from what ive heard the mx518 or ime 3.0 will fit u well.
I have used the G5 and serveral Razer mice. I personally did not liket the razer but the G5 was a nice mouse. I am content with my mx1000 for gaming. It was the only mouse out at the time that was a good large mouse that was a laser. To bad they dont make it anymore.
id say its pretty reasonable. in comparison say my new G5 is only 1/50th of the value of my computer, and i directly use it more than anything but the keyboard.
depends on how you hold your mouse palm I recommend mx518,ime 3.0,deathadder finger grip - ime 3.0,deathadder(better to use with palm since slides are slippery) finger-tip - wmo 1.1a,kinzu,xai,krait,salmosa,mx300 claw - any mouse with a high back EX:deathadder, lachesis, ime 3.0
Microsoft wheel mouse and intelli have got to be the most ergonomic mice Ive ever handled... Microsoft mice give more freedom to use different grip styles as the Logitech almost encourages you to use a certain style of mouse holding technique....yeah.
best moouse grip
2º 3.0
The most used are probably IE 3.0/1.1 and MX 518/510/G5, just go to a store try each one of them and see which feels most comfortable. :D
just try them out on the stores or find some gamer friends
mx518 has the best go for it!
3.0 great

other forum people loves MX518 way more..
no1 talks about Intelli 3.0.
MX518+Exactmat is good combo :P
palm I recommend mx518,ime 3.0,deathadder
finger grip - ime 3.0,deathadder(better to use with palm since slides are slippery)
finger-tip - wmo 1.1a,kinzu,xai,krait,salmosa,mx300
claw - any mouse with a high back EX:deathadder, lachesis, ime 3.0
will 1.1 fit me?
