what mp3 player do you recommend? i'm picking one up tomorrow and might get the 30 gb ipod. any better competitors?

Only two good teams now are PGS and Virtus Pro.

no get the ipod, i should of got the ipod but instead got the creative zvm, its big as hell only but battery lasts very long

Id say go creative or apple. I never bought into the ipod trendiness but i was able to trade in all my cds for a 60GB ipod, new, so I did it.

I hate itunes with a passion, its coded horribly for windows, but the ipod is quite nice.

Do yourself a favor and pick one of those up, the 5th generation ipods scratch easy.

If u plan on gettin somehtin like 8 gb......the San Disk Sansa is amazing. However, I don't think they have anything over 8gb. Check me if I'm wrong.

Pick a zune, the software is nice and very good to have..

I really like the interface to the Ipod and the price isnt that bad...till you look at itunes. Then you start getting ripped off in that sense.

I just bought a Zune...My friend has a sony and loves it. Though he had a few problems when he built his new computer but nothing that Sony didnt work to fix. Do yourself a favor and dont buy the Ipod. If it was tied to Itunes I would have bought one. Go with a creative, sansa, or the microsoft.

Apple should make another version of iTunes that takes way less resources the iTunes. then i'd be real happy.

I've read articles saying that zune 2.0 is due out in q4 of this year, and if that's the case, I'm picking up one of those since I hate apple and itunes more than anything in the world.

get a creative mp3 player. sound quality is superb. if you have the money, get an ipod. You can download songs anyway and just transfer them to your iTunes account. Don't bother purchasing songs from iTunes.

Creative had couple nice players before but I think SanDisk made some better players now! Sandisk Sansa e260 is very nice!

i'm very disappointed with Apple after the price drop on the iphone! I paid $599! :(
Even they provide $100 store credit, Im still feeling upset! I guess I'll not buy any apple relative items in the future! Very unhappy!

Samsung k5 is reallly nice..its a slide mp3 with very good speakers..

Sansa e280 for one reason: ROCKBOX

I recently installed it, it took me less than 20mins and now I have more feature than any other mp3 player can have...

I enjoy playing doom while taking the bus to school :P

i have no problems with itunes. i cant stand winamp or media player.. my 1st gen nano is dyin on me, im lookin at a 30gb or an 8gb nano
