Sorry if this has been answer but i have looked everywhere, all over gotfrag and searched google.

What DPI is an intellimouse 3.0 WITHOUT the drivers installed. So if i was to just plug it in the USB and play what dpi would it be set to?

The default DPI for 3.0 is 400.

and btw dpi doesn't matter...the 3.0 is good cuz it captures more frames than any other mouse which= more accuracy.

New IE 3.0 = 450 dpi, the old one is 400.

I found this out the hard way, as I just bought one and thought my sensitivity was messed up.

old IE 3.0 (white) - 6000 FPS , 400 DPI
new IE3.0 (dark gray) - 9000 FPS, 450 DPI

small difference.

BOTH ARE 400dpi...go to check microsoft.com go to product, find mie3, check the product spreadsheet or tech sheet some like that......god, ppl should use official websites more than asking ppl who don't even have a clue...like #20....

Stop bumping 10 month old threads, #20.
I can see you search "Intellimouse 3.0" and bumping all threads about it. Stop and look at the posting date first.
