change your CPU to a 45nm E8400 for example

you could also get 2 more gb of ram, faster if possible.. i've seen 4gb kits at very good prices

You should probably invest in a mouse, keyboard, etc. You might want a surge protector, too.

get a intel q6600 quad core for $50 cheaper. took me 30 seconds to google how to overclock the thing then took 10 seconds to overclock it to 3.0ghz and it never goes above 38 degrees.

edit..i have the same motherboard and it is EXTREMELY easy to overclock to 3.0ghz and even higher. so why not get 2 more cores for less money?

GTS is worst then the GT, unlike the 7XXX series.

Get an 8800GT.

Also, your heatsink link is the link to your motherboard. Silly.

#18 isn't correct. The 512 MB (G92) version of the GTS does outperform the 8800 GT, same architecture..It's a small performance gain overall, and as such the price dictates that. For the price point, the GT may be a better buy, depends on what resolution you'll be playing at, and the actual games. But the G92 GTS DOES outperform the GT...

Now if you're talking about the G80 version of the GTS, then yes, that is correct. However, the revamped GTS in his build got released along with the GT....possessing the new structure and better performance.
