It skips for me on large swipes every now and then.
I think if you play w/ low sensitivity you should get a different mousepad. But some ppl have the skipping problem and some dont, so its very random. The problem could also relate to how dirty the qck is.
#1 wtf? the original qck and the deathadder skip? havent noticed that, i've been using that setup for like 4 months deathadder + normal qck+ works like a charm, wtf r u kids on crack?
#10 Grats on using either 1) high sensitivity or 2) the wrong settings, either way I don't care about what works for you its a known problem and I am just wondering if the heavy has it too.
i was actually using that setup today to play warsow! my sensitivity settings were: 3/11 windows, 3 ingame, 1800 dpi if i tried to make a 180 quickly my crosshair would go straight to the sky therefore if you plan on using this setup with a low sensitivity (for cs f.e.) i would definitely not recommend it.
I use default Windows sens, lowered the X/Y sens in the Razer drivers to 1, 1800 dpi, and ingame sens. of 1.8, on a QcK+ and I get no skipping whatsoever.
Not all martyrs see divinity... but at least you tried...
after i updated the firmware this stopped happening.. i cant decide between the qck + and the s@S tho... i feel the consistency in the qck but i get those wtf shots with the s@s.. idkk
to answer your question... people have the same problem with this mouse using the qck heavy. Its no different from the qck+ other than the padding underneath.
Anyways, I dont see how updating from 1.25 to 1.27 firmware would have fixed the problem because in the razer changelog the only update from 1.25 to 1.27 was a fix to wakeup from standby mode that only occurred w/ certain mobos.
#15/16 The newest drivers/firmware do not fix the qck skipping problem, atleast not for me. Using 1.08 driver and 1.27 firmware I still have problems when I try to use the qck and the da together.
Damn was hoping the heavy didn't have this problem. Wonder why that type of fabric messes up the da's tracking.
bought a deathadder and used it with qck heavy, could not do reaction shots because it would go nowhere, ordered a fnatic everglide pad and it worked perfect, i returned both however because i didn't want to get used to the d adder, i wasnt comfortable with it :/
I use a DA with the Razer Mantis Control mouse pad. I use pretty low sens (70cm per 360) and i cannot make the DA skip.
I also use it with 450 dpi and 6/11 windows sens, the malfunction speed easier to reach at 450 dpi setting and the mouse works best at 1800 dpi, but even at 450 dpi the malfunction speed is higher then the malfunction speed of the microsoft 1.1 and 3.0 mice so its still good.
Basically if you can get the mouse to skip at 450 dpi then just raise the dpi to 900 or 1800 for better performance.
#24 Thats my opinion, sorry you don't agree with it. Can't believe you felt the need to post about it though thats pretty pathetic, you must care a lot about mouses.
#11 hahah high sense? my sense is so low, that i do a little less than a complete 360 with a swipe from one end to the other on a qck+ (with mousefix on) so you're obv retarded get the newest firmware and you're good to go.
The DA has never skipped for me, since i bought it, about 4-5 months ago.
#28 For CS players thats pretty high...with a qck pad I do about 170 degree's from one end to the other. And no like I said earlier I do have the newest firmware and drivers, it still happens... "so you're obv retarded".
QcK Heavy + Deathadder

Are there any other pads with high friction like the heavy?
It's just the mousepad.

QcK+ w/ DA, never had a problem with the latest Firmware. (1.25-1.27)

but i use the Fnatic pad with the DA... works perfectly.
then it stops skipping!
You're an idiot.
