Hello, i just bought the steelseries fullhead set WITHOUT USB soundcard. The problem is that when im playing CSS and I try talking in Ventrilo the sounds from the game also goes through the mic and my teammates can hear what im hearing and its really loud for them. I've tried every setting in Vent to fix this. So can someone tell me how I can fix this?
The headphones are open ear. It happened with me aswell.
You could always just move the mic further away from you, because the mic is pretty sensitive. If its not loud enough, have them special effect you...or you could turn your game volume down.

did you check to see if in your windows audio control panel, your microphone was muted?
