i use ath-ad700 with zalman mic, works perfect. its a $4 microphone, so don't throw it away, its obviously quite plastic. i've been having mine for well over a year now, but some friends broke it in matters of days (rolled chair on cord, etc.)
ath-ad700 are retailed at $300 USD on physic stores. so yes, the newegg price is probably the best on earth right now.

if these headphones were available in a best buy, they would be $300, and it would still be a very good price tag.

Is this Mic good?
I need a mic like that since ATH-AD 700 has no mic. Is it a good mic?
Also I have Realtek HD Audio. Would Xi-Fi sound card improve position by a HUGE amount. I dont listen to music so I dont care.
