if you want an e8400 and ati 4850 combo, you're going to have to buy a new mobo (any P35 or P45 by msi, gigabyte, or asus is fine). correct me if im wrong, your current mobo only supports amd cpus?

E8400 without OCing, Q6600 with. Also, 9800GTX+ beats HD4850 slightly in benchmarks.
