Hi everyone!

I bought about 2 months ago a new headset - Steelseries Siberia - because my previous gear Speedlink Medusa 5.1 lost a warranty and I thought it`s broken... But it turned out that I have the same irritating problem with my current headset, namely I can`t hear sound behind my back when I play CS 1.6.

I thought that maybe my antique SB Audigy soundcard finally need to be replaced so I bought SB X-Fi Extreme Music but it didn`t help. After this I reinstalled steam and CS, lately I formatted partitions and instaled a new Win XP Pro but the problem hasn`t been fixed I also tested Siberia on my notebook and it`s still not good.

Do you have any idea what can be wrong? I really don`t have a clue...

[4] You suggest that I shouldn`t hear a guy who ran behind me and later stab my back by knife? I`ve played CS for more or less 5 years and I haven`t noticed this problem earlier, this isn't correct...

its likely you won't hear sounds very well behind you. they will never be clear sounds that are infront and on the side are the most clear.
