After reading some testimonies on the web just wanted to know how many of you DA owners here already experienced any click-bounce issues with the DA (for example, clicking one time and getting a double-click instead or getting cut offs when holding a button down and moving the mouse).
Is it a inherent issue with the DA (or even Razer, since already seen it reported by Copperhead users) or is it a defect on mouses that show this issue?
Hmmm, ok seems like it's better to go to the shop and exchange the mouse for a new one then, since I only have it for a week or so.
So another question arises: do I need to re-install the razer drivers on my PC when I connect the new mouse to it? or is it only a matter of connecting the mouse and hitting "apply" on my profile page in the drivers' program?
my deathadder has been double clicking and its really annoying in counter strike ...it started after 6 months of having it and it wont stop...im thinkin about just getting another one or possibly sending this back for a free one if possible
I have the problem, i did a google search and i found a website that had a fix for it. You are suppose to open the mouse up and spray a very tiny amount of wd-40 on the clicking mechanism in there. I havent tried it yet because to open the mouse up you need to peel off 2 mouse skates, but on the website i found lots of people said it work. This is not some kind of driver/firmware problem, its a physical problem with something inside of the mouse.
Oh, and if you didnt already know, opening the mouse probably voids your warranty.
yes ive had this issue, i got an RMA form just the other day and im sending it back soon. now im using a 518, and im thinking of saving the new DA as a backup because the 518 cant be beat.
to add, i love the DA, ive had it for 10 months and its worked great up until this issue, if WD-40 really does work, then id love to hear about it, and im sure others would too, rather than RMA'ing it. which took them 14 days to get back to me so.. but yea, DA is a great mouse, but i think the 518 really fits my hand better.
Ok, so I decided to retun mine and got refunded. Think I'm gonna try my luck again and buy another one from a different store because I really liked the mouse's smoothness.
Also read that click-bounce issue on DA only shows if you're using 1000mhz and not on 500mhz. Is there any truth in this? Those of you who said that never had any problem with the DA, you guys use 1000mhz polling aswell ??
I used a lot of DA over the past 2 years..ish and never had any problems. If it were me i'd get another, I'm sure there are small cases of such things but you've just got unlucky.
my mouse wheel is slanted toward my left click and now my left click is hard to press and my mwheel hard to scroll had it for about 6 months problem arised in the 4th month and i dont slam my mouse really
turn down your double click speed, used to happen to me on my old razer until i turned dbl click speed down on the drivers, if you dont use the drivers turn it down in control panel..

Then why not RMA it?
