this leves room for some cooling. spend about 100-150 on water cooling or about 100 on a heatsink/fan and a gpu cooler. Than oc the fuck out of it :D. this will get you the best preforming pc for around that cost.
The Phenoms are utter crap compared to the Intels, even if you manage to overclock it well.
Intel > AMD as of now.
Paying that much, I'd rather get a Q6600 set up or the Intel Extreme quads, or the latest and last Intel dual cores which would pwn that AMD quad in gaming.
