I am looking to buy a new LCD and I am pretty set on 24". 2-5ms response and an HDMI in is preferred. Any suggestions? So far I like this Acer (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as.. but it seems like it might have some fairly bad back light bleeding. I also like this LG (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as.. which doesn't have the HDMI port (which can be solved in a pinch with a HDMI to DVI cable, its just a hassle). I actually saw one of the LG's in Best Buy today and was able to see some back light bleeding on it as well which goes against review so I am not sure what to get.
Thanks for the suggestions, I actually found the 24" Samsung ToC this morning and went to Best Buy to check it out, needless to say I came straight home and ordered one.
#3 I considered waiting around for viewsonic to release their 120hz monitor but I presume it will be out of my price range...
200? for what 19? that seems pretty steep unless you bought it a while ago. i'm planning on the 2433 but i don't game nearly as much as i used to, so it would be more for movies and just browsing. i would go with a 22 but the higher resolution on a 24 seems worth it
you still didn't say which one haha. how much difference does the DC make between 20k and 10k? the response time doesn't bother me much, and if they have a 2ms 24" i'm sure its ridiculously priced
yeah i will before i buy anything, but since the normal contrast ratios are close, i was wondering if dynamic really changed it. one of my friends was saying after a certain amount, the DC doesn't make any more difference and its just marketing
