help deleting program

it's not showing up as a virus or anything, but it's a D2 patcher, and i CANT delete it.

keeps saying it's in use, and there's NOTHING making it run.

how do i delete it...

no, it's just a file

and it says cannot delete - it's currently in use by another program. but it's not. it's a EXE patcher...

restart your pc then try
<Rift-1d> The background states "Turtles" when those are clearly not regular turtles.

most virus scanners don't find all the viruses. try deleting your browsers cookies

try ending the process tree instead of the task

yes; try searching your processes for the executable and delete, afterwards you should be able to delete the file

have you tried booting in safe mode and deleting?

simply just find the process name in task manager processes tab and end the process (if it's called D2 that is...) then delete the file which was running the process
or if that doesn't help
