So I'll be getting my new Nvidia GeForce 280 GTX OC within a week, and I didn't realize how big it was lol, Might have to get a new case just to make it fit... But thought I would share, bcuz I can =/
same thing for me #7 when i got my 9800gtx+ i had to move my harddrive, and diskdrive its about 10-11 inches so just measure your case to make sure it fits, and im pretty sure the 9800gtx and the gtx 280 are the same size
hope you know the GTX 295 competes w/ the 280 in SLI. The SLI over powers the single card about 10 fps avg on high end grahpics games (example warhead, fallout, farcry). And remember they're are physically two cards for SLI and this single card has just slightly a lower fps performance. Id recommend just saving up and going with a 295.
tloft....really are you that ignorant, new end graphic cards are released every 6 months or so, if it takes one 6 months to save about $80 then they're probably just as sad as you are.
#12 a new family is released every 6 months, but new cards come out much faster than that. how long has the 280 been out and now the 295 is already out? not all that long.
i'm not sure where you get $80 from, most cards come out ~$500 or more, so you could easily be 150-200 short of the top of the line card. and most people that work have other things to do with their money than just spend it on graphics cards
Well its a BFG 280 GTX OC to be exact and I also got a Core 2 duo 3ghz processor, but that reminds me of when i bought my XFX 780i SLi board and the next week the 790 came out, but oh well what can u do.
but i think nvidia will release down graded cards, some chips running between the 260 and 280, but the 295 is probably the fastest card their gonna release right now and new grahpics cards are around about 500 USD not including tax

it's a nice case, but not real space friendly (inside)
