and it has dual LAN, and I was just wondering what the difference would be with using Windows Network Bridge vs using their Ethernet Teaming Utility.
I have 2 CAT6 cables. What would I get the best performance with? Using 1 cable regular, using both cables regular, or using both cables with either windows network bridge or teaming?
if you have dual lan and have a network switch i'd suggest just bridging them. plug them both in and have 2gbps connection! :)
only really comes in to use when you're filesharing on LAN, or if you're computer is a server... even then your hard drives arnt likely enough to burst enough data to other computers fast enough to utilize the full capacity of dual gigabit. or if yours can, the person receiving the files definately wont be able to.
using cat 6 cuz it's the best... and got them on newegg for like $4 for three 2m cables...
and what's a network switch? I have two cables coming from the router right now. My question was basically is it worth it to use both cables? and if so is it better (and what's the difference) to use windows network bridge or the ethernet teaming utility that came with the motherboard driver cd
#4 i think you should use the second. i doubt you'll really see any difference, i don't think you can dl from both at the same time, so unless you have huge amounts of info going in AND out, i think it'll be about the same as normal
network bridge or teaming?

i.e. From your computer to ur parents computer.
And it would still be bottle necked if they arent using dual lan anyway.
It's kinda pointless
