Windows 7 and CS 1.6

I'v recently instaled Windows Seven x64 and when I run Troubleshoot Combatibility option over hl.exe it doesn't present any problems with my OS. But my NO-Steam CS 1.6 crashes when it finishes loading a map but it doesn't show any error message. Does any body know how to fix this?

win7 runs fine with steam :) i used the 32bit version tho i don't like the 64bit versions of operating systems maybe try the 32bit.

yeah, shure #4 but money is what I dont have and here in Argentina, every dollar are $3.7 so anyting I buy it's $3.7 times more than for you.

i think it's like $10 USD for 1.6, so that would be, what, $37 for you? if your previous version of 1.6 (WON based i assume?) has a legitimate CD-key then you should be able to get a steam 1.6 account? can someone confirm this?

#8, since when was 1.6 WON based? They did away with the WON system when they upgraded to steam, in the 1.6 beta.

#11 Yeah, WON hasn't been active for years. But his point still stands, if you have a copy of Half life or CS retail, and the CD key to either, which hasn't been applied to a STEAM account, he should be able to activate either game without purchasing it.
