why is that my monitor is always a little bit shaky

refresh rate too low? something is broken? you are shaking it?

i'd look in that order

to be honest CRTs are of the past save up for a new LCD monitor and get with the future

I went from a 19" Dell LCD with a refresh rate of 75hz to a 17" EMachines CRT with a refresh rate of 85hz and I could tell a huge difference in gameplay and the way things looked. Id stick with CRT for sure.
