My desk is high so i can't palm grip..
I tried MX518, MSI 3.0, DA but Salmosa is most comfortable.
I only move the hand and fingers, wrist don't move.
I need buttons because Salmosa (wtf) don't have side buttons! What is a good mouse of similar shape but with buttons?

g3 is like a salmosa in size with side buttons... laser sensor so it might suck

thats the fatal1ty mouse. its pretty small. the optical 1.1 is too big i think to finger tip grip it. the mx300 and the g1 are small enough to finger grip tip.

The left button in 1010 was so bad (from what I've read, it'd either die or double click) they had to release an upgraded version soon after. 2020 comes with laser, which sucks for anything higher than 5cm/360. I used to play with a sens of 15cm/360 around the time of its release and the mouse would go batshit ever time I tried doing a quick ~90 degree turn, not to mention any 180 degree flickshots. Logic suggests that they would've fixed mouse1 in 1010 by now, but don't forget we're talking about Creative here. Stay away from the fatal1ty mice.

1.1 (though I really hate its shape) or G3 would probably be the best options if you really think you need side buttons. I use the same grip, and I can't even imagine clicking anything with my thumb in the middle of a fight. I say stick with Salmosa if you find it comfortable and move your side button binds somewhere else. As for web browsing, mouse gestures ftw.

Logitech G3. I think Razer made the Salmosa specifically to compete with the G3/G1/MX300 etc.

If you 'require' a 4th and 5th button with a small shape.. the only ones i can say are:

1. diamondback
2. imo1.1
3. g3

Just some feedback
1. Pretty low profile, might be uncomfortable. But it has +4 extra buttons and a 3g sensor.
2. A lot bigger than salmosa with a higher 'hump'. The right side of the mouse is pretty awkward to hold for me
3. laser- skips if you move a bit too fast

I like my G1/mx300. They have a 4th button, but not a 5th.

Diamondback's are extremely comfortable to me.

I prefer IME 3.0 shapes, and the Diamondback still feels comfortable to me, while not having an IME shape (like MX518 is still technically IME 3.0 shape mostly)

i forgot about the diamondback. i dunno anything about it but im sure its a good mouse. the problem i hear with it is that the side buttons on it arent in a good place. they get in the way and are in the spot where you wanna put your fingers.

They're right on the side rail, and that's where you have to keep your thumb. It's nearly impossible to hold the mouse any other way since the mouse is wider at the top/side and the sides are slanted inwards (see the pic). Plus the side buttons are really stiff, not very comfortable to use.

if it does have side buttons the lachesis is expensive and a laser mouse. laser mice skip when you move them too fast so its best to stick to optical mice.

go t o bestbuy or w/e and go to their mouse display and mess around with them.
you dont have to buy 1 from their but at least you can get a feel of how it is(i did this for the razer lycosa keyboard which i then went home and got from woot.com)

on another note
mx518 is really nice
deathadder is pretty good too. people say they have problems but every time ive used 1 its perfect
otherwise id go ms1.1 from like newegg or soemthing for like $20 heres a link to it:

on another note i really LOVE the idea razer had by putting the dpi switch on the bottom of the salmosa

i find it a MUCH better idea than the on-the-fly dpi bvllsh*t idea
