COD4MW2

I dont have the money for a new rig but ran COD4 just fine on my old one. I know COD4MW2 will be a much better looking but how hard a hit will it pack to my system?

If anyone has seen the sys requirements for it please post it up!

its not cod 6. world at war technically wasnt cod 5. so you can pretty much ignore anything #2 has said or will say in this thread.

EA website? if you knew anything infinity ward and treyarch develop call of duty, but iw is developing COD:Mw2 lol :p

and you dont need anything better than the COD4 system requirements. seriously, the games will ALWAYS be created for the 360 so anything above the 360s stats will suffice.'

cod:mw2 does have better graphics, but thats just the textures and lightings that are the different.

radeon x850 (i think it was the XT one cant remember)

P4 3ghz

1.75 gig ram

i ran cod 4 great but games like dod source run shitty, which i figure chaulks up to the engines they are based on.

is the engine the same from cod 4 to cod 4 modern warfare? i dont mind slashing graphics options for good gameplay...

i would rather play on PC but if im forced to xbox it i will.

you'll prob lose 10-15 fps thats about it. it will be on the same engine too.

i dont know either, but i used to play CS and was used to 99fps, i dont know what i got in Cod 4 but i know it looked good and ran as smooth as CS did, so no complaints!

Don't know, if CoD games are more based on CPU or GPU, but Valve games usually need a better CPU than GPU to run smooth. Of course, you will have to use worse resolutions, no AA, AF etc. using a bad/old GPU.

hey man the x850 was a beast in its time. Any more opinions on my ability to play on my rusty rig?

i meant check the publishers website i dont play cod games but i thought ea was the publisher. i know ea didnt make the game ffs.
