Recently my Deathadder has been acting up and I am thinking of getting a new mouse, would like to go a different route then razer...I don't need high dpi I use 400 or 450 in the case of the razer, and play with pretty high sensitivity in game. Any suggestions would be great.

was playing 400 dpi, ingame 15, 6/11, with intelli mouse 1.1a(2 years long)

But few days earlier, bought diamondback. Its good size(not too small/large), good sensor, light and perfect for high sens fingertip/claw players. And now I can go even higher without feeling uncomfy while aiming. I mean...400 dpi with 15 sens, the mouse isnt skipping but its not that smooth as 1800 dpi and 3.5(6/11 obviously).

Ive ownd the DA/MX518 and as a high sens player, they are shit. You're useless at medium-long range, coz both mice are heavy. And heavy mice + high sens = fail.

So its actually up to you. I recommend you these:
- Diamondback
- Microsoft WMO 1.1a
- Krait
- Logitech G1/MX300

If you dont want a razer product, get either the G1 or wmo.

And as for mousepad goes, hardplastic mousepads works best with high sens. No friction at all.
And the Qpad CT(large, 4mm) is the perfect one for me. Or you can get a puretrak talent/func pad(hardplastic). Those are okay too(havent tried them tho, heard a lot of positive things)

krait and kinzu are very alike i think kinzu has better optical tho and nicer buttons. buttons on the krait are too easy to press.
He was using a deathadder so if u like that shape get another deathadder or mx518

if you like your deathadder, use a 3.0 or get another deathadder
i've had my deathadder ever since it was released and it's been fine for me. you can just RMA it with razer support for a new one but you pay like 4 dollars for shipping
