ya #3 has got it. ms mice like the imo 1.1 ime 3.0 and the wmo all have neg accel which u will notice if u use a low sens. it doesnt matter if u use them with a higher sens cuz u wont experience that neg accel. anyway the 518 and the deathadder both work great with a low sens for me compared to my 1.1 and my 3.0. i love all the mice equally but in terms of performance for low sens id go with a deathadder or 518. itll all come down to which feels best in your hands but both 518 and deathadder are shaped for right handed users.
u actually can get used to the neg accel with a ms mouse at a low sens which there are players out there that have but if u want a good starting point dont go with one of them. the players that use a low sens and have a ms mouse most likely have had that same/similar type of mouse for a long time now before mice like the DA even came out.
one reason i prefer the 518 to the DA is the rubber grip on the sides as opposed to the DAs slick sides which i hate.
If you don't really care about the shape, or like their shapes, get an mx518 or a deathadder. Best tracking speed period (other than the new expensive lasers). Keep in mind we're talking needing at least 20-35 inches per 360 to make use of that (approximation).
I think tracking speed is overrated, but thats just because I don't hit those high (over 2m/s) speeds. However, I love the 1.1's shape, and its tracking is plenty good enough for me, with a low sensitivity(60cm/24in per 360/oced or with slight negative accel non oced). A mouse should really be about comfort, skill with it, and how it feels tracking not just how fast it can track.
I noticed that both wmo and kinzu had negative acceleration when I was doing flick shots. I play with low sensitivity and checked out G9x and its amazing like #12 says.
Only wish the G9x was the shape and weight of the wmo. I'm still getting used to it. The precision grip sucks for me because it was hard to hold onto without my hand slipping, on the other hand the wide grip is much easier to hold onto but it's bigger.
22# Medium to high, imo. It doesn't malfunction, but got a noticeable negative accel at low sens. I know most people here would disagree, but it seems like the only reason why so many pros still use a 3.0 over a mouse with no such issues is habbit. Rest of the people are just using it because of the hype.
#23 wrong. aside from having a good sensor the second biggest factor in choosing a mouse is shape. The negative accel is not that bad and you can learn to play with it, the pros continue using the mouse because the love the shape and feel of the mouse.
My 360 is about 40inches per, I just bought a intellimouse 1.1a overclocked to 1000hz, it gets 1.66 meters per second and I can move my hand fast enough to make it skip using a 1 sens in counterstrike. I could be faster not so sure if I neeeed to be but it can always be argued that faster is better. Someone with a mx518, mx300, mx500, would have more potential then me if only looking at numbers. I've alwaaays looooved the shape of the intellimouse and am happy with it for now. By the way mx300 and mx500 are both faster than the mx518 by a large amount even (when overclocked to 1000hz ie).... even though its advertise 800dpi I'm almost certain that the mx300 is 400dpi according to some good sources.
Oh yeah I completely forget to add that razers 3g is not to be f'ed with. Its just a lil faster than an overclocked mx300 and mx500 so don't be impressed as for as perfect responce is concerned the mx300, mx500 and death adder are equal contenders. It has nice shape but so do the mx300 and mx500. As for negative accel with microsoft mice yes they have that but its at the very tippy top of the their speed capabilities and its a shapr drop into non working land so its all the same really. Like I said my 360 is 40inches I can happily use a microsoft wheel optical.
And the clincher.
Deathadder has prediction and it cannot be removed but there is a patch out to try and reverse the affects. Prediction will cause you to draw a perfectly straight line when in reality there are slight deviations from the said.... Is this good or bad? you decide.
The Kinzu has a decent amount of positive acceleration, but in time you will get used to it. Same thing with the 1.1, 3.0, or WMOs negative acceleration. Eventually you will get used to it, even if it takes a sensitivity change.
I have hit the malfunction point on every mouse I have owned so far (G9, G5, Deathadder, 1.1, 3.0, WMO, Ikari Optical, Ikari Laser). I guess I move my mouse too fast for every mouse to track properly. -_-
I have made an in-game demonstration of the Kinzu and I will put it up on YouTube when it is finished.
Hehe i think it would be very interesting for people to see an in-game demonstration of you hitting DA's speed limit during gameplay. This is the one mouse i haven't seen beaten yet.
The Deathadder is by far the best mouse that I have personally used. I just didn't like it for some reason. When I used that mouse I was using my ridiculously low sensitivity because I actually could. The only time I reach the malfunction point is if I tried really hard too. It wasn't something that would happen normally in-game, only when I would freak out then it would malfunction.
I played with these settings with the Deathadder: 450DPI 1.0 In-Game Default Windows 500Hrz
Also, when I had my Deathadder there was a firmware bug that made my cursor "jiggle". So I had to get rid of it because of that, but I understand that is fixed now. Overall I didn't like the design too much in the long run. It's a good mouse though, and I suggest it over the Kinzu.
Low sens mouse?
#3 wrong method/walle plays with low sens with ime 3.0
I'd go with Deathadder @ 1800dpi 1000hz /MX300 @ 1000hz/MX500/MX510 @ 1000hz
This is a 2007 benchmark of many popular mice
http://www.esreality.com/?a=longpost&id=1..
The author later made a review of the Deathadder and it was just THAT much better than all the other mice on the market.
walles sense isn't very low. More medium.
anyway the 518 and the deathadder both work great with a low sens for me compared to my 1.1 and my 3.0. i love all the mice equally but in terms of performance for low sens id go with a deathadder or 518. itll all come down to which feels best in your hands but both 518 and deathadder are shaped for right handed users.

ime 3.0
mx518
I now use a G9x but it was pretty darned expensive (but i love it and use ridiculously low sens)

If you do end up getting the G9x, make sure you flash your firmware with this update. http://forums.logitech.com/t5/G-Series-Mi..

and tihs #32 that slow as hell, with my deathadder i play with
1800dpi
4/11 windows
enhanced pointer on
1.2 ingame
deathadder tracking is best at 1800 dpi
enhanced pointer on
enhanced pointer on
enhanced pointer on
enhanced pointer on
none of this shítty mouse driver business
3/11 windows
whatever default dpi
whatever default Hz
no pointer precision
1.5 ingame
qck+
works perfectly, no skipping/ +ve/-ve accel/anything bad.
