I realize there are a few threads about this mouse, I just noticed there are literally hundreds of posts on the topic, and if someone interested in the mouse wants just a quick idea, they can go here.
I kinda agree #3, I did kind of bored and I was about to edit my post to address this, but I see you kindly did it yourself. He's sick and I can see that he's a bit slow on his processing / talking, so lets cut him some slack.
@#3 I agree, and I considered that, that's why I made the Table of Contents in the description.
I made it long just for those who wanted all they could get, and believe me, there'd be the people who would ask, "Hey, can you do a test for 3200, 3, 1.0"? Or whatever.
@#5 It's hard to rate something absolutely, especially when there are so many gamer types. It's much easier to be relative. If I had to though: 8/10 for amateur gamers and/or high-sens gamers 5/10 for low-sens gamers and/or competitive gamers
The hard-to-predict nature of positive acceleration make it a little slot-mouse That's a no go. Who knows, maybe a firmware update could fix that.
lol most pro gamers do not have have low sens the best players int he world use around 2.5+ which is medium or high. Unless ur talking about american progaming where people use around 1.5.
@#10 Yeah, sorry, my quick grade in post 8 was misleading; it appears I suggest amateur and high-sens are correlated. What I am saying is if you are amateur and/OR use high-sens, and for the second one, if you use low-sens and/OR are competitive.
I just got the Kinzu and I'm really liking it. I have average hands and I'm coming from a MS 3.0 (yea, crazy change). But overall, I fell like I have more control while aiming with the Kinzu and there is no negative acceleration- so it really helps. I'm probably going to stick with it (and possibly try out the Xai). If you like a nice palm grip, then you shouldn't get the Kinzu- it's really a fingertip + claw type mouse, very very good for fast movements and quick aiming (cs1.6).
Kinzu 5/10 Pros 1.Great Size smaller hands(Claw/Finger grip) 2.Feels Perfect in my hand(Anti-sweat Material feels like silk lol) 3.Left/Right Handed CONS 1. Tracking is awful for low sensitive gamers (IMPORTANT) 2. Does pick up on certain mousepads 3. CPI/DPI, I don't know if its just me but 400cpi isn't the same as 400dpi on my Mx518.(completely different senitivities with same settings. 6/11 windows 500hz polling rate.. WTFF
Neat review there, exemplary comparasion. Kinda offtopic, but is anyone else having similar issues with the Diamondback 3G as Orange? I was fairly certain that DA and DB3G had same sensors untill now.
How can I fix the negative/positive accerlation? I bought the kinzu with the expectations of not getting the negative accerlation (or any kind of accerlation) I get from the 1.1SE/A/ETC!.
So is there a way I can fix this? Because I need perfect tracking..
I had a pair of 1.1 skates laying a round so I put them one the mouse. It does definitly go a little bit smoother, but I still got extreme amounts of negative accerlation. I can live with positive but.. this is almost impossible.
im sorry to upset you BiChou but here's a picture of f0rest from dubai. I dont see a glowing mouse. now you are going to have to sell your krait and get a kinzu so u can be good like f0rest again. http://www.fnatic.com/galleries/230/83/
#47 I don't know, but I don't get any accel or negative accel. I can get it to flip out if I move it TOO fast, but that is not going to happen in-game for me at least since I'm a medium-high sensitivity user, 4.4 ingame and 400CPI/500Hz at 6/11 windows. for quake live that is. in CS 1.6 I didn't get any accel/negative accel either.

edit: Real cool of you to take the time to do this*

Edit: whatever, I'll just edit #8 =)
Steelseries only gives undetailed information about 1.0.7
http://faq.steelseries.com/questions/137/..
Does anybody ever look at the description of a movie before/while/after watching?
Should I put that I was using 1.0.7 as the title screen?
Pros
1.Great Size smaller hands(Claw/Finger grip)
2.Feels Perfect in my hand(Anti-sweat Material feels like silk lol)
3.Left/Right Handed
CONS
1. Tracking is awful for low sensitive gamers (IMPORTANT)
2. Does pick up on certain mousepads

Overall its crap
its alooooot faster.

Man, you're a bit overzealous. All the fanboyism's not going to get you a free Xai from SteelSeries.

from what I heard the cause of the negative acceleration is the mouse feet, buy the 0.18mm mousefeet to replace the original, then voila.
But I can't help you with positive acceleration though.
I had a pair of 1.1 skates laying a round so I put them one the mouse. It does definitly go a little bit smoother, but I still got extreme amounts of negative accerlation. I can live with positive but.. this is almost impossible.
As I play on professional basis.
the 0.18 mm is thinner than the original mousefeet, which eliminates the neg accel.
Where can I get them?
I removed all the mousefeet, completly.. I get less acceleration, which is good! Now we need to find a way to solve all of it!
He's out of stock, 2bad..
