5770 vs 4890

i'm deciding which to get.. 5770 seems more future proof and seems better, but i think the 4890 is faster. though the 5770 is $40 cheaper :(

you have the capability to overclock. i never looked at benchmarks or anything but if it's anything like the 4770, the 5770 has great potential to be a very great card.

wait for the GTX300, if you cant go with the 5770 if you want to use DX11 and 6 monitors LOL

and well, if you just play cs dont buy either.

well i would wait for the 300 series to be released, but as usual it will most likely be over priced.

get the 4890

5770 is overpriced at the moment, if you don't want to spend that much for the 4890 get the 1gb 4870 instead, its about the same as the 5770 for $10-20 less

yeah but the 5770 beat the 4870/4890 in benchmarks and hows it over priced? O_O

5770 is better.

Drivers will improve, uses less power, lower temperature, etc..

It's just a better buy in every possible way =/

just don't like how its 128bit card compared to the 4890 which is 256

yep #10s got it. the 5770 is better just give it some time.
