core i7 or i5, some motherboard that supports either i5 or i7 (you should know what you want if you're overclocking I guess) choose CPU after budget get a hd5870 (long wait time on those here in sweden) if you can afford it 6GB (3x2GB) ram DDR3 for triple channel (I think.. that i7 supports that?) your PSU miiiiight be fine if it isn't a crappy cheap PSU and if you're a student you might actually be able to get windows 7 ultimate 64bits for 60£ or something, I read that somewhere... unless you can get it somehow else :-P
anyway that might be possible with your budget!
