highest FPS? you mean refresh rate? I believe the Sony FW900 is the unbeatable champion then

i dont stores sell crts at all anymore so u can count that out. a good lcd would be one that can hit 120hz.

i have 120hz lcd monitor, 2233rz by samsung. games look so much smoother. seems easier to follow enemies with my iron sights up in call of duty

i have a 2233rz
how do i get it to play cs on lower res without having the black bars on the side?

Craigslist or ebay is probably your best bet for a CRT.

iiyama vision master pro 454 is the best crt. capable of like 200hz at 640 and 120 at up to 1280x1024 or some rediculous shit.

(edit: it's the best 19inch crt I mean :) if you go bigger enjoy the hassle it creates too.)

2233rz or viewsonic equivilent are the best lcd(both don't have any lag.. contrary to the one site that said one of them had 10ms)

Sony FW900 can do like 200HZ in 1024x768... although it's widescreen so using that res is not really recommended.

#7 if u have a nvidia go in control panel there should be an option about resolution
