so i'm finally going to be building my new PC next week! :D just wanted to confirm if everything seems correct. been reviewing these parts and stuff for the past 5 months so hopefully i made some right decisions..
GPU [?] i don't know what GPU to buy lol. the most i'll spend is about $220. was looking towards the 5770 but dunno >:o wanted the 5850 but it went up a lot -_- like the 5870. gtx 275 is also too much, $300 -_- rather get a 5850.
You want a CRT monitor for good gaming. If you do get LCD go with 2MS or better. Even then they are so much slower... and check to see if you can get the refresh rate above 60 with pos LCD. Most dont go.
I suggest you get a dual monitor for your computer, a Viewsonic UltraBright CRT 100 hz (really hard to find) for gaming and an LCD screen with a low MS for all the other things. GL and that build is nerdy and freaky enough for you to enjoy endless (useless) hours behind your pc.
you can't beat that price for a 2ms screen, but some of those reviews were alright. I Assume you are already aware that if you are paying 160 for an lcd screen it's not going to be perfect, but it seems alright to me.
