#51 I've only recently started using razer products. Before that it was a keytronics keyboard and a 3.0 for years. But let me tell you something. My deathadder lasted for 2 years, and it still works its just not in my position. My salmosa is going on a year now. And my arctosa still works after spilling 3 beers on it. Guess what, electronics are inconsistent... not a news flash.
#50 / #51 I remember over five years ago I got a copperhead, terrible mouse. I went through 3 of them in a year, each of them lasted me around 3 months. However, Ive never had a problem with any razer products since. This includes my deathadder, my cpl edition deathadder, and my salmosa. You cannot say the products of a company all suck because of a few individual failures. For example, Im a big fan of SteelSeries, I own a variety of their mousepads, 2 imo 1.1 SS's, headsets etc. Yet, I was extremely disappointed with the SteelSeries SX and the Ikari Laser. Should I go out and flame threads saying that SteelSeries is a garbage company and everything they make is worthless?? If you want to sound legitimate, at least narrow down your arguments to specific products instead of labels. If you had only bad experiences with razer, perhaps you shouldn't buy from razer.
I bought the deathadder+destructor combo at future shop and the mouse feet were gone within 5 months. So I've been ordering them from hyperglide. Now the pad is worn out in the area of the mouse feet but no where else, so the tracking changes whenever I go over that area....
Then the mouse kept changing DPI until I removed the drivers, how annoying...
So I'm going to try a softer pad next time. And I'm not sure if I should try the xai or the abyssus+that new white soft-hard hybrid pad or the 9HD. I guess it depends on which mouse I get.
#54 If everyone stopped purchasing from a company because of one little issue, they would be stuck with nothing. It is natural for people to get defensive about gaming products for some reason.
I have had issues with every peripheral company, but I keep going back to them because that is what they do, make peripherals.
#57 correct. If someone has had a consistent issue with Razer mice it's worth mentioning, but that's a far cry from saying that only Razer fanboys who like lights and ridiculous dpi buy Razer mice.
@uNrest- guess what buddy? ALL gaming peripheral companies have issues. I've owned over a dozen different mice since the late 90's from logitech, microsoft, and razer and all have had issues. When it comes to Razer, I had to rma the Copperhead twice in 3 years time that I used it for my gaming desktop and I had to RMA my Tarantula keyboard because of the paint issue when it first came out (you can look this up), the replacement has worked flawless since. I bought the original Diamondback when it first came out and have been using it on secondary PC's and now my laptop and it has yet to die on me. I've gone through 2 MX518's, a G5, my 510 finally died, my IE4.0 buttons started malfunctioning, my MX700 stopped holding a charge. But guess what, all those times they broke, both Logitech and Razer replaced them with new one's without a problem. My Razer Mantis has lasted a good 4 years and I recently gave it to a friend who's using it with his Mamba while owning it up in QuakeLive. I just got the new DeathAdder 3.5 with the Megasoma mouse pad, have zero complaints, and loving every bit of it. I have lots of gamer friends who've used Razer products for years without issue, especially the DeathAdder. Point is all companies have issues and I think for as much of the market share Razer has gained, it's fair to say there will be more issues. Fortunately nowadays most of the issues are easily remedied through firmware updates.
Keep bashing away because people will still buy from Razer and there will still be a large number of satisfied customers.
lol unrest your so mad and getting owned every time you post just give it up. you know the reason why razer doesn't need to spend thousands paying off pro gamers to hype a product. because they spend that money on sensors that work. DA with 2.8 firmware is proven and tested to be the ONLY mouse to date with supernatural malfunction speeds and 0 positive/negative acceleration with little to no correction(same say it has a little i can't tell or compare). I am not a razer fan boy either. I own a DA because razer is a mouse company. I own a qck+ because they are a mousepad company. I own sennheisers because they are a headphone company. Its a simple logic really.
Abyssus
