Look, Feel, and Design Like I said before, the mouse and pad are stunning to the eye. Very attractive and well designed. The Pro|Solutions portray a very professional look that does not at all detract from the work environment. As for the feel of the mouse it is incredibly easy to manipulate and hold. I will offer a word of caution for those who like to grip their mouse with a full hand. This mouse was not meant for people with bigger hands and really firm grips. Razer makes a type of mouse that takes an adjustment to use normally. The heel of your hand will not touch the mouse at all. It is specifically designed for the user to be able to rest the heel of their hand on the desk or wrist rest and manipulate the mouse with their finger tips. To compensate for the limited range of this type of use, the sensitivity is amped up. This does take a little bit to get used to, but I adjusted to the use of this mouse in under 5 minutes. Within ten minutes of using this mouse I found myself more relaxed while using the PC because I was not gripping a heavy mouse and pushing it around. The Razer Pro V1.6 was a pleasure to move around and actually increased my productivity. As the stress level decreased, my want to continue working actually increased. The rubber side rails on the mouse offer an ease of grip and manipulation that was perfect. Its symmetrical design provides a perfect form for ambidextrous use. There are four side buttons however they are designed for thumb use. This leaves the pinky side buttons almost unusable while gaming. However, during use with photoshop and other such applications I found the pinky side buttons useful for changing the resolution The mousepad was simply a joy. I have experienced a Razer pad before and it was sturdy, slick, and stayed right where I put it. The Pro Pad was no exception. Another excellently built and well designed surface by Razer.
