FPSLabs Home: What's In YOUR Tower?

Hello and welcome to a little feature about computers that the gamers you all know and watch use. Taking a few gamers at a time, we reveal their set up for hardware and software as well as the computer they used when they first entered the gaming world. This piece features Garett "GrT" Bambrough of Green Berets and Peter "supply" Lee of JaX Money Crew.


"What's In YOUR Tower?" The start of a feature on hardware and software computer setups used by the professionals we all see competing today. This feature will be introducing a few players at a time; discussing mainly hardware setups as well as a few things on the software end, and concluding with a touch of history from when the given player first began his/her gaming timeline. Much of the community and fellow spectators of the gaming world have a curiosity about the tools professional gamers use. This feature includes two players: Garett "GrT" Bambrough of Green Berets, and Peter "Supply" Lee of JaX Money Crew.

The History

How did you get into this realm of counter-strike? What type of computer did you have back in the day when you first started gaming?

At first I only went to this LAN on Fridays with my brother and his friend. At first I thought it was dumb. Afterwards I began to play it a little bit and basically fell in love with it. Then came time I needed a computer. I bought it for a few hundred bucks off this guy. It was a Dell, Intel Pentium4 1.6GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 2, MX400, 64MB RAM. I had a solid 40-50 FPS.
