Conclusions The 2020 is a much more polished version of the mouse that Creative Labs and Fatal1ty initially launched with the 1010. The 2020 performs much better than the 1010, with better buttons, smooth glide, and virtually bug free, simple software. It is very comfortable and provides a lot of more control and precision than most gaming mice can. The preference of mouse shape still lies with the individual, but this mouse provides a formidable balance between small "finger" mice and larger "palm" mice. I can say with confidence that the performance of this mouse is very worthy of its $59.99 price tag. It is not extremely expensive yet provides more gaming performance than most products out there. Hopefully, in the next version its looks can also be improved. Unfortunately looks is something that can affect anybody’s view on how something performs. The extreme use of the Fatal1ty branding on the mouse does indeed seem overwhelming and is one of the main causes of its ugliness. If you don’t mind sacrificing looks for a great performing mouse, you owe it to yourself to include this in your next mouse buying decision. + Nice balance between grip control and comfort + Customizable Weight System + Resolution Changing + Three front button surface (a la Logitech Wingman) + Big Teflon mouse feet for very smooth gliding + Solid Optional Drivers/Software with USB poll rate switching Cons - Side button still somewhat hard to reach - Ugly looks with overuse of the Fatal1ty Brand Rating Editor's note: Because we did not personally review this mouse, we can not give it an official rating. Javier chose not to give a score to this mouse for similar reasons. |
