Introduction
Antec is back for another review at FPSLabs. By now most you should be familiar with Antec, but for those who aren’t, here is a quick refresh. Antec is based out of Fremont, California and has been in the PC business a little over 20 years now, becoming one of the top brands of high-performance computer hardware. From power supplies to fans and of course cases, Antec does it all. Their last two Performance One mid-towers received Editors Choice awards which I myself reviewed, the P180 and the P182. Hence I am back on the case, pun intended, and working on this P190 from Antec. "What is a P190" you say? Let me tell you all about it.

The Packaging
FPS Labs first saw the P190 out at CES in Vegas in January and initial reactions were positive. When it first arrived here my initial thoughts were, “damn, this is heavy”. With packaging I was lifting almost 60 pounds. Good thing I have been doing my PSU curls this week.


As you can see the box is pretty massive. Everything is well packed; there are foam fillers to prevent the case and packaging from sliding around, and the case itself is packed on top of a foam holder and wrapped in plastic. The front glossy panel is also protected with a film.

• Extended add in card holder (think long GPUs like the 8800GTX)
• Fan clip for extra fan
• Case keys, screws, and rubber grommets
• Plastic cable wraps
• Extra modular cables for the PSUs
