Microsoft's Sidewinder Gaming Mouse out there in public view. Yesterday, I may have said that the Microsoft booth had no one from hardware setup. I was somewhat dissapointed about this until I saw a guy from Microsoft's hardware division tending to a small setup within the Newegg booth. He came showing many things, but he knew I had eyes only for the Sidewinder. It's nice to see this baby is close to coming to market. Today, I saw the final packaging up close and personal. It's your standard Microsoft red packaging with a bit of a twist. The packaging looks nice and represents the product well, but nothing special to note. Just to prove something to myself, I grabbed it and started to move it as if I was gaming to see if I still loved the shape since the last time I saw it. I can't deny my love for the design. Call me a fan boy or whatever you want, but it really is very comfortable and easy to control. On the other side of the Newegg booth, I found a place to play Crysis with the Sidewinder which further enhanced my love for this mouse. The Sidewinder is really fun to use and has a nice weight and glide to it. I snapped some pictures for you guys of the mouse and its packaging. Honestly, I can't wait to get this baby in the labs and test it out. I am sure I won't be let down. |
