FPSLabs is live from Newegg LANfest 2k7. Plenty of hardware analysis and interviews will surely ensue.

Stu and I made the trip down the 10 freeway to Ontario, California for the Newegg LanFest 2k7, presented by Newegg.com. Due to the conspicuous lack of a show last year, we are told that several of the hardware manufacturers have pulled out of the event. That doesn’t mean we aren’t going to have lots of pictures and news from the show floor. AMD, ATI, NVIDIA, Kingston, Crucial, Abit, Microsoft, XFX, Creative and more are all here in force, and we will make sure to show you what each of them brings to the table at this event. We are having intermittent success with the internet, so if content is not flowing quite at the rate you would like, please bear with us.

Aside from the usual pictures and summaries of the day’s events, we have a lot of other interesting content lined up. You can look forward to interviews with Kim Rom of SteelSeries, the Industrial Designer of Microsoft’s new Sidewinder mouse, and perhaps a few other chance discussions with one of the wealth of industry professionals on site for this event. We have been working directly with the tournament administrators and various system integrators to gather the specifications of pretty much every computer in the building. Along with an analysis of these specs, we are also going to try to get some benchmarks running on a few of the systems. We also plan to work with GotFrag TV to bring you some video mini-reviews, interviews, and tours of the show floor.

In addition to all of this hardware coverage, there will be continuous updates from the multitude of eSports tournaments taking place this weekend. You can check all of those updates at GotFrag.com, and as always, keep it locked to FPSLabs.com for interviews and analysis from the show floor.
